A Manchester man has been found guilty of causing death by dangerous driving after colliding with an 11-year-old boy who had just finished afternoon prayers.
Shazaib Hussain was hit outside a Mosque on Moss Street West in Ashton-under-Lyne in February this year and died from his injuries.
20-year-old, Henry Barker from Failsworth had already admitted causing death by careless driving but pleaded not guilty to causing death by dangerous driving.
However, a jury at Manchester's Minshull Street Crown Court found him guilty of the offence.
Barker will be sentenced on August 25.
