Police are appealing for witnesses following a attempted robbery in Bradford yesterday morning.
The incident took place on Thursday 16 July at around 6:10am at the junction of Shipley Airedale Road and Leeds Road in Bradford.
A male rider on a motorbike was waiting at the traffic lights and was approached by another male on foot and they have a verbal argument. The male on foot then grabs the jacket of the rider and attempts to pull him off the motorbike.
Nearby police officers witnessed the altercation and ran over to the scene. The suspect runs off but is quickly caught by officers and arrested.
The motorcyclist drove off from the scene without leaving his details with police.
Bradford District CID are keen to trace the rider of the motorbike for further information about the incident.
Enquiries are ongoing.
