Jonathan Parker broke the woman's jaw and slapped her so hard she fell and struck her head.
Police forced entry to her home and found Parker hiding under a bed. There was blood on the doors and bedding and broken ornaments.
Parker, pleaded guilty to causing his victim grievous bodily harm on the 30th of October and actual bodily harm on the 11th of November.
