Dia Mirza has revealed the extent of the financial risk she took when producing the 2014 Vidya Balan film Bobby Jasoos.
She says she mortgaged her home and took out a bank loan after expected financial backing for the film fell through. Despite the difficulties, Mirza said Vidya Balan was paid a substantial salary for playing the lead role.
