The first title track from Sooraj Barjatya’s upcoming musical family entertainer brings Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari together for a colourful celebration of romance, family and wedding traditions.
The title track from Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari's upcoming film Yeh Prem Mol Liya has been released today, offering a new look at director Sooraj R. Barjatya's return to his trademark world of romance and family celebrations.
The song follows Ayushmann and Sharvari through their characters' wedding celebrations, including family gatherings and traditional rituals. It also incorporates Chhath celebrations into the film's colourful family setting.
Music for the title track has been composed by Himesh Reshammiya, with Shreya Ghoshal and Nihal Tauro providing the vocals and Kumaar writing the lyrics.
The film is particularly significant for Barjatya fans as it brings back the filmmaker's much-loved character name Prem, this time played by Ayushmann Khurrana. It marks Ayushmann's first time taking on a role that has become closely associated with Rajshri's films over the decades.
It is also the first time Ayushmann and Sharvari have appeared together on screen.
The project reunites Barjatya and Himesh Reshammiya following their collaboration on Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. Reshammiya has composed seven songs for the new film.
Yeh Prem Mol Liya is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on 27 November 2026.
