A woman remains fighting for her life following a collision in Hulme earlier in the month.
At around 9pm on Sunday 8 April 2018, Greater Manchester Police were called to reports of a collision between a grey Audi A4 and a pedestrian on Monton Street.
The pedestrian, a 63-year-old woman, was taken to hospital where she is being treated for a serious head injury and remains in a critical condition.
The driver remained at the scene to speak with officers and no arrests have been made.
Police believe there may have been a number of people who witnessed the event and are urging them to come forward.
Police Constable Paul Hailwood, of GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “It’s been over two weeks since this collision and we have specialist officers supporting the woman’s family as she remains critically ill in hospital.
“We are doing all we can to piece together exactly what happened but really need witnesses to come forward, no matter how small or insignificant their information might seem.
“We believe there may have been a number of people that witnessed the collision but left the scene prior to police arrival and I would continue to urge these people to please get in touch.”
