Two men have been jailed after arming themselves with a meat cleaver and a knife to rob a McDonalds in Stockport.
Robert Wood of Kiwi Street, Salford and Ashley Makin pleaded guilty to armed robbery at an earlier hearing.
Shortly before 12.40am on Tuesday the 29th of September 2015, Wood and Makin, who were masked and armed, went into McDonalds.
Both men threatened the manager with the cleaver, demanding that he opened the safe.
They fled with £1700 in cash.
Makin received five years and Wood received 5 years and 4 months in prison.
