Two local businesses have been exposed after failing to pay the National Minimum Wage to its employees.
A national Government report has identified a total of 92 companies owing more than £1.8m in arrears covering sectors including hairdressing, social care, hospitality and security services.
Among the 92 were two Bradford businesses. They were:
The Beauty Specialist in Cross Hills, Keighley who failed to pay £2,807.13 to two employees.
Golden Financial Solutions Ltd in Northgate, Bradford who failed to pay £852.15 to six employees.
On October 1 2015 the National Minimum Wage for adults over the age of 21 rose to £6.70.
