Three people have been arrested after a murder investigation was launched in Rochdale.
Shortly after 10.30pm on Saturday 11 August paramedics were called to a report of an unresponsive man at a property on Palatine Street.
The ambulance service attended and alerted police. On arrival officers discovered the body of a man inside the property.
A murder investigation was immediately launched.
Two men and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Detective Superintendent Debbie Dooley, from GMP’s Rochdale borough, said: “We have a team of detectives doing everything they can to identify this man and uncover what happened to him.
“Three people are currently in custody and they will be questioned by officers as this investigation continues.
“I must stress that we are in the very early stages of enquiries and we are trying to gather as much information as possible about the circumstances surrounding this man’s tragic death.
“A crime scene will remain in place at the property and officers will continue to speak to residents to see if they heard or saw anything that could help us.”
