West Yorkshire Police have arrested ten men in connection with child sexual abuse offences reported to have occurred in Bradford during the 1990s.
A police operation in Bradford has led to the arrest of ten men as part of an ongoing investigation into non-recent child sexual abuse. The men, aged between 49 and 71, were detained at various addresses across the district and have since been interviewed and released on bail while enquiries continue.
The offences are alleged to have taken place between 1994 and 1997 and involve six victims who were between 13 and 15 years old at the time. Detective Chief Inspector Vicky Greenbank of Bradford District Police reaffirmed the force’s commitment to protecting children, stating: “This investigation demonstrates the Force’s ongoing commitment to the investigation of both current and non-recent sexual offences against children.”
She emphasised the collaborative approach needed to tackle such crimes and encouraged any victims—past or present—to come forward. “You will be listened to, taken seriously and supported by professionals,” she added.
