Greater Manchester Police have said a teenager remains in a stable condition after a stabbing in Bolton during the weekend.
At around 11.50pm on Friday evening (12 April), police were called by the ambulance service to Harrowby Street in Farnworth to reports that a teenage boy had been stabbed.
Emergency services attended and the 16-year-old was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A 54-year-old man, who was arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault, has been released under investigation.
