A teenager has admitted attempting to steal from a 93-year-old woman in Oldham.
The 17-year-old boy tried to snatch the woman’s handbag as she stood at a bus stop on Turf Lane on 16 August. She was dragged to the ground and suffered multiple injuries to her head, knees and hands.
The defendant, who cannot be named for legal reasons, will be sentenced on 25 September at Tameside Youth Court.
