A man was left lying seriously injured in the street following a suspected hit-and-run in Dewsbury.
At 1.00am on Thursday 23 August police were called to Huddersfield Road. Initial enquiries showed that a man had been in collision with a vehicle, which failed to stop at the scene.
The man was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
