A 39-year-old man has been jailed after attacking two teenagers last July, in the Thornton Road area.
Bradford Crown Court heard yesterday, how Andrew Murgatroyd hit one of the teenagers with a rounder’s-type bat and put the victim in a headlock.
He then threw the 17-year-old to the floor, held the bat to his neck whilst demanding for his mobile phones.
Murgatroyd, of Briarwood Crescent, Wibsey, pleaded guilty to charges of robbery and has been sentenced to four years.
