Police investigating an assault which happened in the early hours on Friday 11 March in Dewsbury have charged a man.
Police investigating an incident in Dewsbury town centre on Friday in which a man suffered serious injuries have charged a man with attempted murder.
Wayne Walshaw, 44, of Mountain Crescent, Thornhill, was also charged with possession of a weapon in a public place.
The 46-year-old victim has now been released from hospital.
