Bradford Council is taking a dramatic new approach in a bid to tackle fly tipping.
The authority has targeted a hot spot area in Barkerend, where waste is dumped illegally regularly.
Waste will be cordoned off with crime scene tape and stickers placed on the fly tipping asking for people to come forward with information if they know who may have been responsible for the fly tipping, in an effort to raise awareness of reporting.
The fly tipping will then be removed in a few days.
Potential penalties for fly tipping include a Fixed Penalty Notice of £400, an unlimited fine and up to five years in prison.
