Mystery surrounding how a children’s beautification project in Keighley was destroyed has been revealed.
In late September this year flower beds created by local children were damaged in Laycock Lane after being tarmacked over.
Following an investigation by Bradford Council it has been discovered a well-meaning driveway contractor was responsible for the accident, as he was asked by a neighbour to fill in some potholes with leftover tarmac from a nearby job.
