A man was left with a chest wound after fighting off a burglar in Greater Manchester.
A would-be robber broke into a property in the Prestwich area of Bury on Monday morning (8 April) and demanded cash from the occupants.
The victim, understood to be a man in his 30s, tried to fight off the thief and a “struggle” ensued.
Police said the victim was left with a small chest wound.
It is not known what kind of weapon was used and no arrests have yet been made.
