A man who sexually exploited a vulnerable teenage girl in Stockport has been jailed.
Danyal Mahmood, aged 27, was convicted of rape and sexual assault following an investigation by Greater Manchester Police.
Officers said Mahmood manipulated and abused the teenage victim, taking advantage of her vulnerability.
He was found guilty at Stockport Crown Court and has now been sentenced to a significant prison term.
Police praised the courage of the victim for coming forward and said the case demonstrates their commitment to safeguarding young people and bringing offenders who exploit vulnerable victims to justice.
