A man has been charged in connection with the shooting of a mother and son in Salford in 2015.
On Monday 12 October 2015, Christian Hickey and his mum, Jayne, were shot on the doorstep of their home in Salford.
Christian and his mum, who were aged seven and 30 at the time of the incident, were taken to hospital and had to undergo numerous surgeries before being discharged.
On Wednesday 27 June 2018, the Spanish National Police, working with the National Crime Agency, arrested a man on behalf of Greater Manchester Police after a European Arrest Warrant was granted.
Carne Thomasson, 28, of no fixed address has been charged with two counts of conspiracy to murder.
