A man has been charged following a road traffic collision in Bolton.
Qasim Mohamed, of Castle Street, Bolton has been charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving, disqualified driving, no insurance, handling of a stolen vehicle, possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and possession of an offensive weapon.
Shortly after 8pm on Monday 7 March 2016 police were called to a collision on Moss Bank Way in Bolton.
Officers arrived and found that a Ford Fiesta was on its roof on the wrong side of the road, after it had collided with two women from a local running club.
The two women, aged 23 and 25, were taken to hospital with serious leg injuries.
The 25-year-old woman remains in hospital following reconstructive surgery on her leg. She also suffered a broken nose and broken ribs.
The 23-year-old woman sustained ligament injuries, a suspected broken wrist and bruising. She has since been discharged from the hospital.
