Police have launched an investigation following a serious assault in Chorlton.
Emergency services were called out to reports of an assault at a Co-op store at Barlow Moor Road’s junction with Hardy Lane, at 6.15am this morning 5 April.
Greater Manchester Police set up a cordon and investigated surrounding streets in a nearby housing estate.
A man, aged in his 40s, was taken to hospital for treatment to a leg injury.
Reports say arrests have been made but police are yet to confirm this.
