Police investigating a shooting incident have arrested a 29-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder.
Officers arrested the man from an address in the Woodhouse area of Leeds at about 9am on Saturday.
He is currently in custody and enquiries are continuing.
The 19-year-old victim, who suffered a gunshot wound to his leg in the incident in Stainbeck Road on Thursday, remains in hospital in a stable condition.
Officers from the local neighbourhood policing team are continuing high-visibility patrols of the area to provide reassurance to the local community.
