A man has been given a suspended prison sentence after he admitted to viewing indecent images of children.
Police recovered electronic devices at Ian Drinkwater’s home, last year in August. Leeds Crown Court heard how there were more than 100 indecent images on his computer.
The 65-year-old admitted to viewing images of children on the internet.
Drinkwater, of Stafford Avenue, Halifax, pleaded guilty to three charges of possessing indecent images and one of extreme pornography and was given a 12 month prison sentence suspended for two years with 30 rehabilitation activity days and 150 hours unpaid work.
He also has to register as a sex offender for 10 years.
