Taryl Moxam appeared at Bradford Crown Court and pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving.
Moxam was at the wheel of a black Vauxhall Insignia which drove down the westbound carriageway of the M62 the wrong way at 2.34am on 2 April 2018, before colliding with a vehicle containing Adam Afsar, 34, and Jason Wilby, 27, near Junction 26 for Chain Bar.
The 23-year-old, from Barlborough in Derbyshire, was remanded into custody to be sentenced this afternoon (17 April).
