A man who arrived at hospital in Leeds with the potentially fatal Middle East respiratory syndrome (Mers) has been transported to a specialist unit in Liverpool.
Public Health England (PHE) said the patient travelled on a Saudi Arabian Airlines flight (number SV123) from Jeddah to Manchester on 16 August.
The person is understood to be a resident of the Middle East. They took themselves to hospital in Leeds before being transferred to the Royal Liverpool University Hospital.
PHE said it is just the fifth case of Mers to have occurred in England.
