The Minister for Immigration visited Bradford to meet Syrian refugees resettled in the city.
Caroline Nokes was taken to Horton Housing to see how the housing association was helping welcome refugees.
As part of the Vulnerable Person Resettlement Programme, 20,000 Syrian refugees will be settled in the UK, with 8,000 resettled so far, around 1,200 of those in Yorkshire.
Ms Nokes spoke of the “great work” being done by charities and community associations in Bradford.
