A team of six runners from Ilkley are to attempt a Ghostbusters-themed world record at this year’s London Marathon.
The group is hoping to set a new Guinness World Record for the ‘fastest marathon in a six-person combined costume’ – as they collectively run as the famous ghost-catchers’ car.
They will be running for two cancer charities and already have a world record to their name after breaking the previous time for a five-strong combined costume marathon team, when they dressed as Scooby Doo characters in 2017.
