A Muslim law student from Huddersfield is to become the first hijab-wearing finalist at the Miss England contest.
Sara Iftekhar, who studies law at university, will go up against 49 other hopefuls at Kelham Hall in Newark, Nottinghamshire.
The 20-year-old also works as a make-up artist and won Miss Huddersfield 2018.
The winner of Tuesday night's event will represent England at the Miss World competition in Sanya, China, in December.
