Long service awards have been presented to staff at Bradford Teaching Hospitals who have clocked up 1,230 years’ service between them.
41 members of Foundation Trust personnel, who have dedicated their careers to supporting and caring for patients across the district, were honoured at a special awards ceremony at Bradford Royal Infirmary.
Staff including nurses, doctors, support and administration staff, were presented with certificates, a special NHS badge and vouchers to commemorate their 30 years’ service to the NHS.
The awards were presented by the hospital’s chief executive, Professor Clive Kay and chairman, Professor Bill McCarthy.
Professor Kay said: “I would like to say congratulations to all the long service recipients for their dedication, unstinting loyalty and efforts to the NHS here in Bradford.
“It really is quite humbling to hear about the journeys they have all been on throughout their careers.
“Thirty years is a fantastic achievement and on behalf of the Board, and the patients and families who use our services, I would like to say how grateful we are for the commitment you have given to the NHS.”
