A Greater Manchester Police (GMP) officer has been arrested in connection with alleged abuse of their position for a "sexual purpose".
The constable is under investigation for allegations made regarding the operation of a police cadet training programme.
It is understood a constable in London is also under investigation.
Four more officers, three with the Met and one in Greater Manchester, are being investigated by the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) over how they dealt with the reports of abuse.
The IOPC said the GMP constable has been released on bail and more potential victims have been identified.
