The iconic Emley Moor mast is about to get a twin.
The tower, which is the tallest free-standing building in the whole of the UK at 1,084ft high, is about to undergo maintenance work at the very top of the structure.
A temporary mast is to be constructed, at the same height of the Eiffel Tower, so that TV and radio transmission signals for around two million households will continue as the work begins.
