Scientists studying a dinosaur that was unearthed in Yorkshire have found that it was a pregnant mother.
The 180-million-year-old ichthyosaur was discovered near Whitby, North Yorkshire, in 2010. It has since been housed at a museum in York.
A team from the University of Manchester has now said up to eight tiny embryos were identified between the fossilised ribs of the marine reptile.
