Police are appealing for information after a car was found burnt out in Apperley Bridge.
A local resident awoke to the sound of a car alarm and a loud bang in the early hours of this morning (19 April) and called the fire brigade.
A black BMW in the car park of the George and Dragon pub, just off Harrogate road, was found to have caught fire.
It is not known if the car was stolen or the fire was started by an electrical fault.
