The closure of a Lloyds branch in Hebden Bridge means there will be a 15 mile stretch in the Calder Valley without a bank.
Lloyds in Albert Street was the last bank in the town after Barclays closed in April.
With there being no longer any banks in nearby Elland and Sowerby Bridge, Calder Valley customers are without a bank from Todmorden to Brighouse.
Lloyds - who said they made the “difficult decision” after research showed only 23 customers used the branch regularly each week - is operating a mobile service in Hebden Bridge on Mondays and Thursdays.
Consumer group Which? called the rate of of local branches closing “alarming”.
