Bradford Council is holding a special drop-in day for people who are interested in taking up an apprenticeship in youth work.
The Youth Work Apprenticeship Drop-in Day will be held on Wednesday 4 April from 10am to 4pm in the View Room at Margaret McMillan Tower, Bradford, BD1 1NN.
The council says people who are interested can come along and find out about what the role entails from experienced youth workers. They can also meet staff from the Council’s learning and development apprenticeship team and Bradford College’s youth and community department.
Mick Charlton, Bradford South area coordinator for the Council’s neighbourhood and customer services, said: “Youth work is one of the most rewarding jobs someone can do and this is a fantastic opportunity for people to find out about apprenticeships in this profession. If you are passionate about making a difference in the world and changing young people’s lives come along and find out more. You don’t need to book, you can just turn up.”
