A man has died following a collision on the M60.
Shortly after 3:35am yesterday morning (17 April), Greater Manchester Police were called to the motorway to reports of a three-car collision that had taken place between junctions 18 and 19.
Mohammed Amin, 49, from Bolton died at the scene and two other men were taken to hospital, one with a critical head injury and one with other serious injuries.
Sergeant Danny Byrne, of GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU), said: “First and foremost I would like to extend my sincere condolences to the family of the man who tragically died this morning.
“This is a devastating time for them and we are working to provide them with support from specially trained officers.
“I would also ask that anybody with information about the collision contacts the SCIU.”
