Police are appealing for information following a serious road traffic collision in Pontefract.
A blue Lexmoto Assault motorbike was travelling on the A645 Knottingley Road, in the direction of Knottingley at around 12.30pm on Thursday 27 September, when the rider came off the bike and was in collision with street furniture.
The rider, a 39-year-old man, was seriously injured. He remains in hospital.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who saw the vehicle driving in the area prior to the collision is asked to contact police.
Officers would also like to hear from anyone who may have dash-cam footage of the vehicle driving in the area.
