A man has been arrested after armed police responded to an incident in Greater Manchester.
Firearms officers were called out to the Manchester Road area of Denton just before 8.00pm on Sunday night (27 January) following reports of a man with what was believed to be a gun.
Witnesses were reportedly told to stay indoors as police surrounded several buildings.
Greater Manchester Police said no one was injured during the incident and a 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm in a public place.
