The incident that took place last year, in July saw Baker shouting abusive comments at the 52-year-old teacher, grabbing her arm and then throwing a glass in her face.
The victim suffered a deep cut to her nose that needed 12 stitches.
Baker was ordered to be electronically tagged and to pay a £140 statutory victim surcharge.
