Police are appealing for witnesses following a fail to stop collision in Bradford on Sunday, 14 February, which left a cyclist with serious injuries.
The collision happened at around 6.15pm at the junction of Ashbourne Way and Brisbane Avenue and involved a black car, possibly a BMW 1 Series, and a pedal cycle. The car left the scene prior to police attendance.
The 16-year-old male cyclist was taken to hospital where he received treatment for a serious head injury. He is now recovering at home.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who either witnessed the collision itself or saw a black car, possibly a black BMW 1 Series, being driven near the scene of the collision. It is understood that the vehicle was missing a wing mirror and had damage to the bonnet or windscreen.
