Yash has returned to cinemas with Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups, with strong advance bookings and packed early screenings putting the film on course for a potentially enormous opening day.

Indian superstar Yash is back on the big screen with Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups, and early indications suggest the film could deliver one of the biggest Indian cinema openings of 2026.

The film opened in cinemas today, with strong advance bookings and packed screenings reported as audiences turned out for Yash's highly anticipated return.

Advance ticket sales had already crossed ₹40 crore ahead of release, with industry expectations suggesting Toxic could potentially achieve an opening of around ₹100 crore.

The release is particularly significant because it marks Yash's return to cinemas following the extraordinary success of the KGF films.

Current projections suggest Toxic could outperform the opening of Dhurandhar, although expectations remain below the phenomenal opening achieved by KGF: Chapter 2.

The film has attracted considerable attention beyond Kannada cinema too, making it a strong pan-Indian entertainment story as the first box-office figures begin to emerge throughout today.
