Kangana Ranaut is currently gearing up for the release of her film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi.

The film is slated to release in cinemas on 25^thJanuary 2019 with fans excited to witness the actress essay the role of the ever-fierce Queen of Jhansi.

The filmmakers have released new film posters featuring the additional cast members from Ankita Lokhande, Danny Denzongpa to Atul Kulkarni.

The teaser of the film released in October, opening with a voice-over by megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who narrates the story of Queen Manikarnika's rebellion against the British. The teaser also boasted of extravagant sets and elaborate costumes, but it is leading lady Kangana Ranaut who’s stolen the spotlight as a fierce fighter.

Kangana's Manikarnika will transform as the people's queen who leads them in the face of adversity and suppression inflicted by the coloniser East India Company.
