In the wake of the recent Uri attack, many in India called for a ban on Pakistani actors.
The call left Bollywood divided, with some supporting it and others condemning it. It was in this context that ace filmmaker Karan Johar went on record to say that banning art or artists wasn’t a solution. Turns out KJo’s statement didn’t go down well with famous 90s Bollywood singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya. Abhijeet had earlier called for Pakistani actors to be kicked out of India. The singer — infamous for his very public outbursts — took a homophobic dig at Karan, terming him Mrs Karan Johar Khan on Twitter over his fondness for Pakistani actor Fawad Khan.
