Total Dhaamal makes over Rs72 Crore in four days

Total Dhamaal, the biggest comedy film of the year is king of the Box Office days after its release!

One of the most anticipated movies of the year, the film has won over family audiences with its characters’ wild adventure.

Total Dhamaal has already made Rs72 Crore (over USD $9.8 million) within its first four days, signalling a major success for the comedy. In addition, the film has been a mega-hit overseas, making Rs24 Crore (around USD $3.4 million) over the weekend, confirming it as the number one Bollywood movie worldwide.

The film has been popular among families with hilarious hijinks for children and the nostalgic onscreen chemistry of Madhuri Dixit and Anil Kapoor sure to take parents back to 90’s. Respected Indian film critic Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter account to discuss the film’s box office success, highlighting the large family appeal that gives Total Dhamaal “an edge over other mass entertainers”.
