Shah Rukh Khan to fly down to New York for Karan Johar’s birthday?

As Karan Johar celebrates his 46th birthday in New York, one wonders if best friend Shah Rukh Khan will be present for his birthday celebrations.

We won’t be surprised considering SRK is shooting in the US for his next movie ‘Zero’ with Anushka Sharma. There are chances that the duo will meet on Karan’s special day or that he may even host a party for him. Talk about “co-incidences”!

Karan has been sharing Instagram stories of a rooftop party that he has hosted. In an interview with a daily, he shared his birthday plans, saying that he plans to unwind and shop. He has also been sharing pictures of him dressed in rather cool outfits with the hashtag, #newyorkdiaries.

The last movie that SRK-Karan worked on was ‘My Name Is Khan’. When asked about why they haven’t worked together in so long, Shah Rukh had said that while they discuss a lot of ideas, they don’t collaborate unless Karan has written especially something for him. But it’s not like they meet only to discuss their movies.

On the work front, post ‘Zero’, SRK will start shooting for the biopic on Rakesh Sharma followed by the remake of ‘Vikram Vedha’ and ‘Don 3’.
