Right from the grand entry at the trailer launch to celebrity endorsements and of course, the timely song releases, the movie has built the perfect craze for the big release on 1st September. And guess what? With just a day left, Punjab Nahi Jungi is trending in Pakistan.
In Karachi, the movie is trending on Twitter even above Games of Thrones season 7 finale. And that is quite a feat.
Despite a tough competition from Na Maloom Afraad 2, PNJ will have one of the most-hyped releases in Pakistan and in the international markets. The cast of the movie, Humayun Saeed, Mehwish Hayat, Urwa Hocane and Ahmed Butt has been on a roll of PR activities around the world.
The battle for show times and cinema occupancy between Na Maloom Afraad 2 and Punjab Nahi Jaungi is also getting ugly. It looks like Na Maloom Afraad has managed to score double the number of shows than PNJ.
