Following its inaugural debut on the UK’s celebrity event calendar in 2017, the second, annual International Pakistan Prestige Awards (IPPA) will lay the red carpet to welcome the A-list of Pakistan’s glitterati on Sunday 9th September at the renowned Indigo at The O2, London.
A who’s who guest list of the finest from the worlds of Pakistani film and television, music and fashion will be joined by leading figures from the UK’s expatriate community and corporate sector, as well as by fans and audiences themselves, as IPPA continues to acknowledge and celebrate the wealth of talent from Pakistan’s entertainment industries with global audiences and fan bases that transcend borders. IPPA 2018 will return bigger and better than its grand debut in 2017 at Hilton Park Lane.
Celebrities expected to attend IPPA 2018 include: Sajal Ali, Syra and Shehroz Sabzwari, Zahid Iftikhar Ahmed, Yasir Hussain, Ayesha Omer, Sarwat Gilani, Iman Ali, Sonya Hussain, Ali Kazmi, Mawra Hocane, Asrar Shah, Ahsan Khan, Jawed Sheikh, Adnan Siddiqui, Mathira, Sana Fakhar, Kubra Khan, Bilal Ashraf, Shiraz Uppal, Ayesha Sana, Osman Khalid Butt, Mikaal Zulfiqar, Shermeen Kashif, Urwa Hocane, Farhan Saeed, Azfar Rehman, Ainy Jaffri, Nadia Khan, Yashma Gilland Neelum Muneer.
Awards to be presented on the night will include: Best Film 2017; Best Actress Film; Best Actor Film; Best Director Film; Best Supporting Actor Film; Best Singer of the Year; Best TV Serial 2017; Best Actor (Female) TV Serial 2017; Best Actor (Male) TV Serial 2017; Best Supporting Actor TV Serial; Best Director TV Serial; IPPA Style Icon of the Year; Designer of the Year; Model of the Year;and Best Emerging Talent.Additionally, Special Category Awards will be presented on the night for Lifetime Achievementand IPPA Star of the Year. Audiences are now invited to cast their votes for their favourite stars in the Viewers’ Choicecategory via the website www.ippawards.org.
