As reported earlier, Jami Mahmood’s Moor is set to re-release in theaters as part of the move by local exhibitors to screen Pakistani movies.
It is turning out to be a good business move for many filmmakers, especially for Jami, as his action film Operation 021 has joined the line-up too. While the film did average business on the box office, it was lauded by critics and looks to have another go at luring in audiences. Jami surely is excited for both of his films making a return.
“This is the biggest news for me as I know Moor reached around the world but 021 coming back to screens holds a nostalgic irony as two cinemas removed it after the first show,” Jami told. Asked whether he’s more excited for Operation 021 or Moor’s rerun, he said, “I’m more excited for 021 because Moor is still running somewhere around the world. 021’s release is very special.”
