After the horrific Bengaluru molestation case, actress Malaika Arora Khan expressed her angst and disgust through a powerful message on Instagram.
The heartfelt message on women’s safety attracted massive attention and the actress was soon applauded for voicing against the injustice.
However, turns out that Malaika’s Instagram post was not originally written by her, in fact, she copied it word-to-word from a Facebook post by a person named Darshan Mondkar. The recent Bengaluru mass molestation of women on New Year’s Eve left many in India appalled.
Several Bollywood celebrities including Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar and others strongly condemned the incident. Bollywood starlet Malaika Arora also jumped on the bandwagon and shared an Instagram post on women’s safety which soon went viral. Many of Malaika’s fans thanked her for the ‘heartfelt message’ and praised her ‘well-written post’.
Turns out, Malaika lifted the caption from one Darshan Mondkar who shared the same post on Facebook a few days earlier.
